Next Generation sequencing is the best method for adventitious agent detection, virus seed stock, bacterial cell line, and expression vector identification, and cell substrate genetic stability testing. Our customer was interested to know the viral integration in MDCK cell lines. We resequenced the genome and mapped the clean data to assembled genome. By using our service customer easily detected that no nucleic acid contaminant was present in cell lines. Our NGS service provided an additional level of bio-safety assurance that can support traditional testing methods such as in vitro and PCR-based assays.
