Dushyant Singh Baghel
MD & CEO

Dushyant Singh Baghel is India's renowned genomics expert. He is MD and CEO of India's Top ten Life science solution provider and Asia's top 20 biotechnology laboratory-Nucleome Informatics. With his experienced team, he led multiple genome sequencing projects including Indian Water Buffalo, Great Indian Bustard, Indian Bengal Tiger, Pomegranate, Mango, Indian Wild Dog, Mosquito, Shrimp, Leopard, etc. His team is also sequencing the full-length Genome and transcriptome of Indian citizens. Nucleome is one of the partners of the Vertebrate genome project and the first company in India to perform Trio-Binning to separately assemble mother and father chromosomes present in a child's genome. His company lately procured world's largest long-read genome sequencer PacBio Sequel II, first in South Asia. For its high-quality genomics research in India, Nucleome Informatics is recently awarded as ‘The Business APAC Noteworthy Biotech & Pharma Companies, 2019'.

Dr Baskaran Ramchandran
Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Ramachandran Baskaran is the Chief Scientific Officer at Nucleome Informatics, a leading human genomics lab based in Hyderabad, India. With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Dr. Baskaran brings extensive expertise in genomics and precision medicine. He is dedicated to advancing the field of biotechnology through innovative research and development, focusing on areas such as oncology, neurology, and rare diseases. Dr. Baskaran actively participates in industry events, sharing insights on the intersection of academia and industry to inspire the next generation of biotech professionals. His leadership at Nucleome is pivotal in driving advancements in genomic technologies and personalized healthcare solutions.

Vidhya Kesavadas
Chief Operating Officer

Vidhya Kesavadas serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Nucleome Informatics and DrSeq, Nucleome's dedicated human genomics lab. She is also a Director at Nucleome Informatics. With over 15 years of experience in strategy, operations, and management within the healthcare industry, Vidhya has held key roles at Nucleome Informatics Pvt Ltd, Silver Oaks Hyderabad, Oxygen Healthcare, and Merck Ltd Mumbai.

Dishant Singh Baghel
VP- Business Development and Corporate Affairs

Dishant Singh Baghel is the Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Affairs at Nucleome Informatics. He plays a key role in driving the company’s strategic initiatives, business growth, and corporate partnerships. With a Master’s in Economics and 18 years of experience in sales, marketing, strategy, and corporate management, he brings deep expertise in business development and strategic planning. Before joining Nucleome, Dishant held senior management roles at multinational companies, further strengthening his leadership in the genomics industry.

Dr Srikanth Manda
AVP- Bioinformatics

Dr. Srikanth Manda is the Associate Vice President (AVP) at Nucleome Informatics, specializing in genomics, proteomics, and proteogenomics. He is a data scientist with a strong focus on cancer genomics and integrative multi-omics analysis, including the genome, transcriptome, proteome, and epigenome.

Dr. Manda holds an M.Tech from IIT Bombay and pursued his Ph.D. at the Institute of Bioinformatics, Bangalore, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University, USA. With over 12 years of experience in high-throughput sequencing and mass spectrometry data analysis, he plays a pivotal role in advancing Nucleome’s research and innovation, contributing to breakthroughs in precision medicine and genomics.

Dr Sathish Pedamma
Head of the Genomics Lab and Deputy General Manager-R&D

Dr. Sathish Kumar Pedamma is the Head of the Genomics Lab and Deputy General Manager (DGM) of R&D at Nucleome Informatics. As a leading scientist in the genomics department, he heads the wet lab team, overseeing the planning and execution of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) projects. His team is responsible for sample preparation, collection, storage, DNA and RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, and NGS library preparation. He also works closely with the sales team and clients to troubleshoot challenges and ensure timely project delivery (TAT).
In his role as DGM of R&D, Dr. Sathish focuses on developing new technologies and NGS applications while leading researchers to drive innovation and create intellectual property (IP).
Before joining Nucleome in July 2016, he served as a Junior and Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Rice Research (IIRR/DRR) from July 2012 to June 2016. During this time, he contributed to research projects on Golden Rice, Functional Genomics, and Allele Mining of Aromatic Rice Genes, funded by DBT, ICAR, and IRRI. He conducted his MSc research at the Indian Institute of Millet Research (IIMR/DSR) in the field of biotechnology.
